2017 Simplified Admission Guidelines (International Students)

Entrance

October  1, 2017
Programme Term: Oct, 2017 – Mar, 2019 (18 months)
TIAS aims to finish the programme within 18 months by recruiting excellent students across the world.

Necessary Expenses

International students are exempt from paying the examination fees, admission fees and tuition.

Eligibility for Application

Applicants must meet one of the following criteria

1. Individuals who have graduated or who will finish a Japanese four-year University by September 2017.

2. Individuals who have completed a 16 year school education curriculum which includes a Bachelor’s degree outside Japan, or individuals who will obtain their Bachelor’s degree by September, 2017.

3. Individuals who have received or will receive a Bachelor’s degree from the National Institution for Academic Degrees and University Evaluation by September 2017.

4. Individuals who have been recognised by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.

5. Individuals who are 22 years of age or older by September 2017, and whose qualification is recognised equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree through Eligibility Screening conducted by TIAS

6. Others

*If you do not fit into one of the categories above, please contact TIAS Admission Office for eligibility screening. For those who fulfill the eligibility don’t need to have eligibility screening.

  • After the announcement of examination results, the TIAS Admission Office will inform each of the newly admitted students with the foreign nationality (without appropriate legal status in Japan) about the status of residence by email.
  • TIAS provides travel expenses and scholarship for students with the status of residence “student” in Japan.

Examination 30,000 JPY (Only for those who have passed the documents screening)
Admission Fees 282,000 JPY (non-refundable)
Tuition:

  • Oct 2017 – Mar 2018 : 267,900 JPY
  • Apr 2018 – Sep 2018 : 267,900 JPY
  • Oct 2018 – Mar 2019 : 267,900 JPY
