Students Participated in International Anti-Doping Seminar

Students participated in International Anti-Doping Seminar in Asia and Oceania held in Japan Sport Olympic Square on December 14th as a part of Anti-Doping class. The theme of the seminar was “Reuniting the Clean Sport Community: with a Living Legacy to Preserve the Values of Sport”. The seminar is part of the “PLAY TRUE 2020, Sport for Tomorrow”, a legacy project for Tokyo2020 Games led by Japanese Government. The seminar consisted of the trends and analysis of Asia and Oceania, Athlete Session and WADA and JADA strategies.

The 2nd Batch student, Anirban Chakraborty (from India) says, “The International Anti Doping seminar 2022 for Asia and Oceania region hosted by JADA was a great learning experience. It was an important seminar to build capacity among the cleaner sport community and it helped us to understand various initiatives like the Compliance Monitoring program, Code Compliance Questionnaire, JADA’s clean sport framework among many others.
Thank you JADA, TIAS2.0 and University of Tsukuba for providing this opportunity to learn and network which helped us understand the importance of a clean sport community along with its contribution.”
