“Calligraphy書道” experience in Japanese Culture Class by Izumi EGAMI sensei

TIAS2.0 students practised Calligraphy書道 in Japanese Culture Class.

Calligraphy is the way of writing with brush and Sumi ink.

Most children in Japan learn calligraphy in elementary school.

It was a bit difficult for TIAS2.0 students who learned it for the first time.

However, it was a good opportunity for them to experience the traditional Japanese way of writing.
