Over two days, we welcomed guest speakers Yaya Yamamoto, Director of the WADA Asia-Oceania Office, and Takuhiro Kishi and Hiroki Kubozono, members of the JADA Education Department.
We learned about the basic framework of clean sport through Anti-doping programs, the origins and roles of Anti-doping organizations such as WADA and JADA, and the procedures required of athletes.
In the second half of the class, participants split into groups to debate the merits and demerits of the Enhanced Games.

As part of JADA’s educational program, a Paper Tower Workshop was held, and participants discussed the meaning of fairness and the value of sport.
Professor Takuaki Hiraoka, a sports instructor and silver medalist in judo at the London Olympics, spoke about his own experience of undergoing doping tests during his active career.
He also spoke about the reality of intellectually disabled sports and their relationship to anti-doping rules, and we asked him questions.
