Students learned about “Japanese Rites of Passage” in Japanese Culture Class

TIAS2.0 students learned about “Japanese Rites of Passage” such as “Otoshidama” and “Hatsumode” in Japanese Culture Class by Izumi EGAMI sensei.

Finally, with instructions, everyone folded a helmet called “Kabuto,” which was worn by a samurai warrior using ”ORIGAMI”.
This origami paper is a “WASHI”. It’s a traditional Japanese paper.
