2023.11.16-19 TIAS Taiwan Study Tour

A Taiwan study tour was held on November 16-19, 2023.

Date and time: November 16th (Thursday) to November 19th (Sunday), 2023
Venue: National Taiwan University of Sport (Taichung), National Taiwan Normal University (Taipei)
Participants: 7 TIAS2.0 students, 3 faculty members

17th (Friday)
Under the guidance of Professor Leo Hsu of the National Taiwan Physical Education and Sports University (hereafter NTUS), the TIAS Taiwan Study Tour students toured NTSU’s educational and athletic facilities, paid a courtesy visit to President Hsu Kuang-yin, and toured the Olympic Education Center.

　

　

Afterward, they moved to Taipei City and participated in a seminar hosted by Leo sensei at the Guting Campus of National Taiwan Normal University (hereafter NTNU), and discussions on Olympic education were held based on presentations by NTNU’s students.

　

18th (Sat)
At the NTNU-Gongguan Campus, information was exchanged on sports education in both countries, centering on presentations by Professor Shi Mingshu and Fukasawa. Following this, group discussions were held between NTNU faculty, students (doctoral, master’s, and undergraduate students), and the students participating in the tour, and information on sports education was exchanged and cross-cultural exchange took place.

　

　

This tour was held in a hybrid format, sometimes connecting with the University of Tsukuba online.
