2024 – SPORT ALUMNI NETWORK 1: FIJI – SITIVENI ROKORO (3rd Batch TIAS)

SITIVENI ROKORO (3rd Batch TIAS), Chief Executive Officer – “Cricket Fiji has been committed to using cricket as a “sport for development” under the Cricket for Good – Fiji program.

One of the key aspects of this initiative is training and empowering youth coaches on cricket and life skills, who will then impart both cricket knowledge and important life skills to their peers, which will create a positive impact within their communities.

Moreover, Cricket Fiji has a strategic focus on empowering women and girls through cricket.
By providing these opportunities, Cricket Fiji is not only promoting gender equality but also creating a platform for women to showcase their talents and leadership skills.

Through this strategic focus area, Cricket Fiji is actively working towards breaking gender stereotypes and promoting inclusivity within the sport.
Overall, Cricket Fiji aims to inspire all Fijians to be their best through cricket.

By providing opportunities for personal and skill development through the sport, Cricket Fiji is nurturing a generation of individuals who are not only skilled cricketers but also well-rounded individuals with strong values and leadership qualities. Through their various initiatives and programs, Cricket Fiji is truly making a difference in the lives of many individuals across Fiji”.
