2024 SPORTS ALUMNI NETWORK 7 – INSPIRING COMMUNICATIONS 27: S.C.P. Japan x Global Sport Innovation TIAS 2.0 – TOWARDS ‘ACTIONABLE CHANGE’ through SPORT & ENGLISH

Enriching International Student’s Experiences – Enhancing Japanese Student’s Outlooks – Global Mindset-Local Outcomes.

“SCP Japan” is a non-profit organisation which promotes diversity, equity and inclusion through education, training, capacity building and international cooperation by using the power of sport – the aim of creating an inclusive society. “SCP Japan” is founded in March 2020 and has kept putting our effort into creating a better future where everyone can be who they truly are. The current project aims to nurture children who can actively and dialogically engage with others towards an inclusive society that respects diversity. We Yuiko, Yuki, and Sae from SCP Japan are working on the project with TIAS2.0. Collaborating with TIAS2.0 (international students-Daniela, Enzo, Rodrigo and Prof. Rakwal; and Claudia; Chile, Brazil, Mexico, India) gives us a lot of new insights. We are hoping the children are able to recognise their feelings, respect the ideas of peer children to collaborate to be able to work together through the project.

GLOBALTREE has signed an alliance partnership agreement with S.C.P. Japan since June 2021, and has been working on various activities while sharing their vision. And this time, as one of the new efforts, together with “General Corporation S.C.P. Japan” and “University of Tsukuba · TIAS2.0 program” we are launching an “International Exchange Program through Sports” starting July this year, and in 2024 plan to hold a total of 6 events.
